I just thought I'd mention that if someone really wants the effect of candles for ceremony, ambiance, mood, whatever, you could try the flameless, battery operated candles that use a flickering led light. They are very safe and quite realistic, giving the warm, flickering glow of a candle. Some of them are actually embedded in real wax, and are scented.
